WHO INVENTED THE FIRE HYDRANT?

Nobody knows who invented the fire hydrant because its patent was destroyed in a fire.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CHANGE THE BATTERIES IN MY DETECTORS?

Every year!  We recommend the first day of fall.

A Firefighter must take over 120 hours to be allowed to enter the interior of a burning building.

Our top Firefighters attend around 250 hours of training a year while working their normal jobs and family duties.

HOW LONG DO YOU THINK FIREFIGHTERS HAVE TO GET DRESSED FOR A EMERGENCY? 

Less than two minutes!  This includes all of our gear, which can weigh from eighty to one hundred twenty pounds..
